Gabriele Martelli
Former guitarist in a psychedelic band called Gemma Frisius, he joins PropheXy in July ’05 and he finds himself on stage with the band after only two days of full immersion rehearsals. He’s always been fond in progressive rock as long as many other genres and this open minded musical taste suites perfectly to PropheXy’s attitude to music. Besides playing and composing with PropheXy he worked with Roberto Freak Antoni (Skiantos’ vocalist) both playing live and recording the guitar parts in IroniKontemporaneo Vol.2.
Instruments: He principally plays a Gibson SG standard guitar and a 1970 handmade strato type guitar, which he used for the Alconauta recording sessions. He’s now playing a Yamaha Pacifica heavily customized by his friend and guitar luthier Manzo (myspace.com/madcustomguitar).
