Here is “Improvviso” cover!
The drawing was made by Lorenza Valle (lorenzavll@gmail.com), an artist who was able to represent the strong tension in the music of PropheXy, where the individual parts come together to form an organic whole. The instruments become arrangement, ideas become songs, the musicians become a band… And the sum is greater than the parts.
But the meta-brain, person made by people, it is also understood as a mass thought, which crushes the individual to whom it is not given a choice. A “Deus Ex Machina” that prevents escaping from the chorus of “the rights”, another brick in the wall, another body crushed, folded back on itself and chained to his seat, like a refrain between two verses, like 1-2-3-4.
And so the brain it works, it thinks and dominates, so much to convince his synapse-bodies to remain motionless.
The individual plants grapes on the Moon, the crowd of blurred faces tramples it…

Il disegno è stato realizzato da Lorenza Valle (lorenzavll@gmail.com), artista che è riuscita a rappresentare la forte tensione della musica dei PropheXy, dove le singole parti si uniscono per formare un tutto organico e vivo.
…Gli strumenti diventano arrangiamento, le idee diventano canzoni, i musicisti diventano un gruppo… E la somma è maggiore delle parti.
Ma il meta-cervello, persona di persone, è inteso anche come pensiero di massa, che schiaccia i singoli a cui non è data scelta. Un “Deus Ex Machina” che impedisce di uscire dal coro dei “giusti”. “Un altro mattone nel muro”, un altro corpo schiacciato, ripiegato su se stesso e incatenato al suo posto, come un ritornello tra due strofe, come 1-2-3-4.
E il cervello così funziona, pensa e domina, tanto da convincere i suoi corpi-sinapsi a restare immobili.
…L’individuo pianta la sua vite sulla Luna, la folla di volti indistinti gliela calpesta…

We are glad to announce that “Improvviso” will be officially released on June 28th 2013.
This new work is going to be released by Musea Records, historical French label, and is a live recording, intended to show the band in their favourite environment.
Recorded on March 17th 2012 at Teatro San Sebastiano di Valli del Pasubio, Vicenza, Italy, this record includes three new versions of songs from the previous album “Alconauta” and four brand new tracks.
As bonus tracks, “Disassociation” and Golf Girl”, two Caravan classics played together with Richard Sinclair, founder of the great English band and great icon of what is called the “Canterbury Sound”.
Siamo lieti di annunciare che il 28 Giugno 2013 uscirà ufficialmente “Improvviso”, il nuovo lavoro dei PropheXy.
L’album uscirà con Musea Records, storica label francese, e sarà un disco interamente dal vivo, registrato il 17 Marzo 2012 al Teatro San Sebastiano di Valli del Pasubio (VI).
Il disco comprende tre nuove versioni di brani dal precedente “Alconauta”, accanto a quattro composizioni totalmente inedite.
A chiudere questo lavoro due bonus track tratte dallo stesso concerto: si tratta di “Disassociation” e “Golf Girl”, due brani dei Caravan suonati assieme a Richard Sinclair, fondatore del gruppo inglese ed icona del “Canterbury Sound”.
..It’s a piece of history we don’t want to lose, so here it is: our old 1999 demo “The Distance Behind” and the unreleased 2000/2001 “Mazzacorati Tapes” are now available in the Discography section. Enjoy!
